About CarbonSetu

Setu means bridge. That's the whole company.

On one side: utility bills in a drawer, diesel logs on paper, an emissions number nobody would sign. On the other: audit-ready inventories, defensible disclosures, and carbon credits with a market price. We build the crossing.

Why we exist

Indian enterprises are being asked for carbon numbers from three directions at once: SEBI's BRSR mandate, enterprise customers pushing supplier questionnaires down the chain, and lenders pricing climate risk into credit. Most companies' response is a spreadsheet built once, by a consultant, from estimates — a number nobody in the building can defend when the auditor calls.

Meanwhile, the same operations often sit on genuinely monetizable carbon value — rice husk that could be biochar, residue that could be biogas, efficiency projects that qualify for credits — going unclaimed because the measurement infrastructure was never built.

CarbonSetu closes both gaps with one pipeline: AI-based measurement rigorous enough to survive an audit, and advisory that takes eligible operations all the way to issued credits.

How we work

  • Measurement before promises. We don't publish a reduction claim or file a credit application we can't trace to source documents. Every figure in every deliverable has an evidence trail.

  • Standards, not vibes. GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1 for inventories. Verra and Gold Standard methodologies for credits. India-specific emission factors, cited.

  • Built for procurement. Enterprise security review, government tender processes, NDAs before data — we're structured to be buyable by the organizations we serve.

  • Your side of the table. In credit sales we advise the seller — you. Our advisory fee is not a spread on your credits.

Who we serve

Enterprise and government. Deliberately.

Our clients are Solar EPC firms, data centre operators, rice mills, hotel chains, manufacturers, municipal corporations and agricultural processors — organizations where a carbon number is signed off by a CFO, reviewed by an auditor, or answered for in a council meeting. That bar shapes everything we build: if a deliverable wouldn't survive procurement, verification or an RTI query, it doesn't ship.

No spreadsheets. No commitment.

Send us one month of utility bills. We'll show you what your carbon data is worth.

The free assessment scopes your footprint sources, flags credit eligibility, and comes with zero obligation — you keep the findings either way.
