This policy explains what CarbonSetu Climate Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("CarbonSetu", "we") collects on carbonsetu.com and in the course of our services, and how we handle it. We are governed by Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

Enquiry data. When you submit the contact or demo form: name, company, email, phone (if provided), industry, and your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to run the engagement.

Engagement data. If you engage us, you upload operational documents (utility bills, fuel invoices, meter data). These are processed solely to deliver your assessment or reporting engagement, under the confidentiality terms of your contract and any NDA signed before data transfer.

Analytics. If enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), stored in data centres located in India, and access is limited to the team members working on your enquiry or engagement. Engagement source documents are deleted on request at the end of an engagement.

What we never do

We do not sell personal data, share client documents with third parties (except verifiers or registries you have expressly authorized as part of a credit project), or use client data to train models.

Third-party processors

We use a small number of processors to operate this site: hosting (Vercel), transactional email delivery, and — if enabled — Google Analytics. Each processes data only on our instructions.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for processing. Write to Carbonsetu.official@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a grievance with the Data Protection Board of India.
